General

How can I find out more about your prices?

You’ll find full details on our prices page. All prices include VAT and travel.

What areas do you cover?

Our dog and cat spas cover slightly different areas across Surrey, Sussex, South West London and parts of Berkshire and Hampshire. See our coverage maps, or email us to check your address.

How do I book?

Book online at any time, call us on 0330 100 1033 or email us during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm).

Why do you take credit or debit card details?

We take card details when you book, with a £20 non-refundable deposit per pet. The balance is charged to the stored card once the groom is complete.

Payments are securely processed by Adyen or Square — we never see your card details. See our terms & privacy policy for more.

Can I pay with cash?

No, I’m afraid we don’t accept cash or cheques.

What if I need to cancel?

We understand appointments sometimes need to change, and we’ll always try to work with you to re-arrange. Please let us know during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm) — emails aren’t monitored outside these hours.

Less than one full working day’s notice: 100% of the fee. One to two working days’ notice: 50%. Missed appointments are charged in full, and bookings made less than one working day ahead can’t be cancelled without paying the full fee. See our terms.

What happens if you can’t complete the groom?

In the unlikely event that we can’t complete the groom for reasons beyond our control, the full cost is payable. This can happen if your pet finds the groom too stressful and we believe it’s not in their best interests to continue, or if your pet behaves aggressively.

What happens if you can’t park?

Please make sure there’s space to park either on your property or immediately outside. If we can’t park, the full cost of the groom is payable. Any paid parking is added to your bill.

Do I need to be at home?

Yes — please be there to hand over and collect your pet, and let the groomer know how you’d like them styled. Arrival times are approximate, as they depend on earlier grooms and traffic.

Can I stay with my pet in the spa?

Sorry, no — our insurance doesn’t cover clients inside the spa during the groom.

Mobile dog grooming

How often should my dog be groomed?

It depends on how short you keep your dog’s coat and how well they’re brushed at home. As a guide:

  • Curly and wool coats (poodles, bichons, cockapoos, cavapoos): brush daily; groom every 4–6 weeks (6–8 if regularly brushed).
  • Silky and long coats (shih tzus, schnauzers, spaniels, Tibetan terriers): brush daily; groom every 6–8 weeks (8–12 if regularly brushed).
  • Wire coats (border terriers, westies): brush weekly; groom every 8–12 weeks (12–16 if regularly brushed).
  • Double coats (border collies, retrievers, German shepherds): brush every other day; groom every 8–12 weeks (12–16 if regularly brushed).

For advice on brushes or avoiding matts, give us a call.

Do you groom giant breeds?

No. Unfortunately we can only groom dogs weighing less than 40kg in our spas. For insurance reasons we also can’t groom Chow Chows, Mastiffs, or banned breeds and their crosses.

My dog is very matted. Can you still groom them?

Yes. We don’t brush out thick matts as it can distress your pet — instead we clip them off, which may mean cutting the coat shorter than usual. Because matted dogs take longer, there’s an additional charge. See our terms for details.

Do you clean ears and clip nails?

Yes — both are included in every groom at no extra cost. We don’t express anal glands.

Does the Mobile Dog Spa need to be plugged in?

Yes. We need access to a power socket for our cable, which is typically 5–8 metres long (we can’t use extension leads). The spa carries everything else, including water, on board.

How large are your Mobile Dog Spas?

Our dog spas are 6 metres long, and we need to park close to your house because our cables only reach 5–8 metres. See our latest vans.

What if my dog has fleas?

Please treat fleas before we visit. If we find fleas during the groom, a £25 surcharge covers an insecticidal bath and disinfecting the spa.

Mobile cat grooming

How does your mobile service for cats work?

We groom your cat in a specially converted vehicle. Our cat spas carry their own power, so we don’t need to plug in. You’ll need a strong, secure cat carrier so our groomer can take your cat to and from the spa.

What do I need to do before the Mobile Spa arrives?

Make sure your cat hasn’t been let out and is ready in a secure cat carrier. We have to charge for a missed appointment if your cat is unavailable.

How large are your Mobile Cat Spas?

Our cat spas are 5 metres long.

How often should my cat be groomed?

It depends on their coat. See our cat grooming guide, or give us a call for advice.

Do you sedate cats?

No. We never use sedatives — we rely on calm, low-stress handling. If sedation is ever needed, we’re happy to work alongside your vet.
